"Euantes" Man





	In a darkened Labyrinth sits a "Euantes" man,

	deep within a trance he dissects poems,

	trite and superior.



	Flinching not as he works,

	for this is what he survives to do.



	Quoting his favorite "modern" lines,

	he longs to share his unique knowledge with all.

	Attentively we the students of the united 

	"Creative Writing" class,

	declare our ideals, and if not just.



	Sharp tongue and quick wit 

	lash out on the wrong ones

	as he crams instructions into them.



	This man may be thought of as a 'evil mastermind' by some,

	not me and no doubt.

	I side with the ones who see Mr. Leigg as the 

	one and only "Pulitzer Prize" winner of 2023.
